At Community Council Greater Dallas (CCGD) we are committed to helping individuals and families access essential resources through our SNAP program. Serving over 56 counties across North Texas and Panhandle regions, CCGD partners with Texas Health and Human Service Commission and strong based community partners organizations to expand SNAP outreach, education, and application assistance.
Together, we ensure that every community has access to vital nutrition support and pathways towards long term well-being.
Funding supports projects that lessen poverty in communities. While addressing the needs of low-income individuals. We strive to provide services and activities that address employment, education and better use of available income, housing, nutrition, emergency services, and/or health.

Eligibility Determination
- Applicants must be a Dallas County Resident
- Must meet income guidelines according to the Federal Income Guidelines (please reference table below)
- Applicants will be required to provide the following documents:
- Social Security Card
- Utility Bill
- Full Rental Lease
- Benefits Support Letter such as food stamps, SSI
- Pay Stubs for last 30 days
- Additional documentation may be requested
